A man’s been jailed for running two brothels in Birmingham, after an investigation by our Birmingham Serious Organised Crime and Exploitation (SOCEX) team.
Police horses Bruce and Belgravia, alongside officers, headed over to Brierley Hill last week as part of some high-visibility patrols to deter crime and engage with the public.

A Chief Superintendent with more than 20 years’ service has taken over the role as our new head of Operations. Chief Superintendent Helen Bailey will oversee the Operations Unit which includes Firearms, Dogs, Roads Policing, Football Unit, Safer Travel, Drones, Operational Support Unit and Birmingham Airport.
