I joined the Police at 19 years old, this was my first full time job and nearly all my 23 years’ service has been spent within local policing as this is an area of policing that I am most passionate about. I thoroughly enjoy working alongside our communities and key partners to work through a problem together. I have previously been an inspector on our force response teams, where I was fortunate enough to be in a role that enabled me to cover our response teams all over the West Midlands Police force area, which gave me a great insight into how our organisation responds to our most critical incidents and how we work alongside a variety of communities to tackle local issues. I have also led our partnerships team, which gave me excellent experience of collaborating with our key partners to support each other to deliver the best service possible to the public. I am passionate about the welfare of my staff and ensuring that they are empowered to serve the community to the highest standard possible by them having the right training and support.

Visibility and community engagement from the Local Policing Neighbourhood team..
Our communities have asked for a much higher rate of Police and PCSO's out on their beats.
We will address this with targeted patrols, community events and engagements and general patrols.
Action taken:
This is a constant area of concern that we have fed back to us at all community events and most engagements we have with the general public.
We understand this is very important to increase personal safety and raise the publics confidence in us as a Policing team.Keep an eye out for us and come and say hello whenever you see us..

We have assembled a robust and proactive Policing team over the last few months that are more than ready to tackle incidents of anti-social behaviour, but more importantly, the causes of the issues.
This will be through quality engagements and joint partnership working with our colleagues from Wolverhampton.Staff are trained in issuing community protection notices to persistent offenders as well as taking positive action in the form of arrests when needed.

Drug dealing in Fallings park and Low Hill and Bushbury South continues to be a community concern. .
This involves, offenders using the road networks to sell drugs, antisocial driving as well as the drug users causing issues.Action taken:
The neighbourhood Team alongside the dedicated neighbourhood officer will continue to work in partnership with substance misuse charities, Wolverhampton council ASB Teams housing providers and utilising Force resources. such as drugs dogs, force traffic and the drone unit.
