Visibility and community engagement from the Local Policing Neighbourhood team...
Our communities have asked for a much higher rate of Police and PCSO's out on their beats.
We will address this with targeted patrols, community events and engagements and general patrols.
Issued 08 October 2026
As with the other 2 priorities, the anti-social use of off road and electric motorbikes, bleeds across into all your issues.
Officers will be actively targeting anti social use of Surron electric motorbikes and taking eScooters off the users to be crushed.
Now that Summer demand is over, you will se an increase in visibility in your area.
We are dedicated to tackling social isolation in the elderly and are working very closely with the local authority and residents associations to bring more of us together for community events.
This is a constant area of concern that we have fed back to us at all community events and most engagements we have with the general public.
We understand this is very important to increase personal safety and raise the publics confidence in us as a Policing team.
Keep an eye out for us and come and say hello whenever you see us..

Repeat demand locations.
Issued 08 October 2026
We have recently discussed the Policing priorities for our 3 beats and whilst they are similar to the last, we will be adding begging and homelessness to our targets.
Officers will be actively targeting anti social use of Surron electric motorbikes and taking eScooters off the users to be crushed.
We are seizing on average 1 eScooter per day, which are still being regularly used, despite an area wide leaflet drop by your MP advising on the legalities of such electric modes of transport.
Staff are trained in issuing community protection notices to persistent offenders as well as taking positive action in the form of arrests when needed.
These are being used and repeat offenders are now being arrested and face charges.

Drug dealing in Fallings park and Low Hill and Bushbury South continues to be a community concern.
This involves, offenders using the road networks to sell drugs, antisocial driving as well as the drug users causing issues.
Issued 08 October 2026
We have seen an increase in begging and drug related thefts across Low hill and the Scotland's and we are busy gathering intelligence on the offenders who supply these perpetrators.
We have a new gangs team Sergeant for the area who is reviewing the recent intelligence and setting up operations to tackle the drug dealers, so keep an eye out for our uniformed and plain clothes staff.
If you know anything about the supply of drugs in your area, please contact us either using the West midlands Police website or crime stoppers if you wish to remain anonymous.
The neighbourhood Team alongside the dedicated neighbourhood officer will continue to work in partnership with substance misuse charities, Wolverhampton council ASB Teams housing providers and utilising Force resources. such as drugs dogs, force traffic and the drone unit.
