I joined West Midlands Police in 2002 and have served in a number of frontline roles policing the areas of Coventry, Walsall and Birmingham. I have previously been posted within the planning team for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games where I worked closely with partners to deliver safe and secure events at the NEC and surrounding complexes. I have spent my previous 2 years within Counter Terrorism Policing. I am delighted to have become the constituency Inspector for Solihull Rural Team which is a unique area within West Midlands Police, covering the wards of Bickenhill, the NEC, Meriden, Knowle, as well as Dorridge & Hockley Heath.
I hope my knowledge and experience will benefit this constituency and I look forward to building positive relationships with partners and residents in order to tackle issues which are important to the communities within the rural area.

Hot spot for business crime and theft related offences
Issued 24 March 2026
We have recently held another engagement event at resorts World which was deemed as very successful. Whilst shop theft remains low across the NEC and resorts World we still unfortunately receive reports of offences taking place. Solihull have established a dedicated Business Crime team to take shop theft and reduce future offending. Shop theft will be taken seriously and we actively encourage victims to report offences
