I joined West Midlands Police in 1999, initially serving as a response officer in Kingstanding, before gaining extensive experience in neighbourhood and custody positions. More recently, I was given a leading role at both a force and national level to reshape the West Midlands Police IT infrastructure. I have also had responsibilities for Early Help, Missing Persons, School Intervention and Prevention, Adult Vulnerability, and Serious and Organised Crime and Exploitation in the Birmingham area. In February 2024, I began serving the Northfield constituency, which encompasses the Kings Norton, Longbridge, Northfield, and Weoley wards. I feel extremely proud and fortunate to lead a team of dedicated officers who share my commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our community. Every day, I look forward to coming to work, striving to make a meaningful and positive impact for local residents.

Ongoing reports of drug dealing and drug use across the 3 Estates area of Kings Norton.
Action taken:
Officers will carry out pro-active intelligence led operations to target drug dealers within the Kings Norton Ward and of note the 3 Estates.

Off road motorcycles causing ASB in the local area and on housing estates.
Action taken:
Joint working with partner agencies to educate reference the implications of riding with no helmet, licence, insurance. Along with Operations arranged with the Forces Road Harm Prevention team.

Ongoing ASB and damage to Kings Norton Bowling Club which is a void premises.
Action taken:
Patrols being conducted by local officers to deter access to the site and ASB which is affecting the local community. Officers are working closely with partner agencies and the building owners to secure the premises and prevent further ASB.
