I have been a Police officer

I have been both a response and neighbourhood policing Inspector. I have been an Inspector on the Neighbourhood policing teams since 2023.

I continue to seek lasting relationships with partners, as well as enhancing public trust and confidence here in the West Midlands.

"I joined West Midlands Police in 2009 and have a passion for delivering excellent levels of service to our communities, reducing crime and protecting the public.

Between 2009 and 2017 I served the communities across the south of Birmingham, based out of Bournville Police Station. I worked in different environments and spent time as a Response PC, an investigator on CID and as a Neighbourhood Officer in the Kings Norton area.

In 2017 I became a temporary Sergeant on a Response Team based out of Solihull where I spent the next 18 months. I managed a small team and was successful in promotion to Sergeant in April 2018. I then moved on to work as a Response Sergeant based out of Newtown on the west of Birmingham. This was an exciting, fast paced area to work, policing and safeguarding really diverse parts of our community and managing a large and complex team. These were some of my favourite years in the Police.

I stayed at Newtown until August 2021 where I became successful to the rank of Inspector. Upon promotion I moved to a department called the "Force Support Unit". We were dedicated to providing a force wide service to the wider organisation in helping reduce demand, patrol high crime areas and provide that wider support to our colleagues on Response. Furthermore, we policed the Nighttime Economy on a weekend, and I was the senior officer on duty keeping the City Centre safe overnight. I remained on this team until a structural change in April 2023 and moved back to Solihull as a Response Inspector where I remained until September 2025. In 2025 I moved to Response at Stechford covering the eastern part of Birmingham and in July 2026 arrived here at the City Centre.

I work alongside Insp Andy Lavanchy who oversees the inner sector and I have the outer sector. I look forward to working with Andy and already have a strong working relationship with him.

Outside of work I am a proud father of a young daughter and have dedicated 18 years to West Midlands Police and our communities. I look forward to serving the Birmingham City Centre community and it's business'."
