Force Priority - Operation Stance
We are currently engaged in tackling the criminality seen at shops in the Bournville area, specifically around the retail parks and 'high street' locations. We are working with other departments, utilising disruption efforts and enforcing legislation. We are looking to hold those responsible for owning, managing or utilising these stores who are intent on crime.
Issued 22 July 2026
The NHT will be visiting these locations in partnership with external partners to provide enforcement. Days are being organised to work with partners where we can tackle the issues the shops cause, seize illegal items and disrupt any criminal activity.
