Force Priority - Operation Stance
We are currently engaged in tackling the criminality seen at shops in the Cotteridge locations. We are working with other departments, utilising disruption efforts and enforcing legislation. We are looking to hold those responsible for owning, managing or utilising these stores who are intent on crime.

The NHT will be visiting these locations in partnership with external partners to provide enforcement. Days are being organised to work with partners where we can tackle the issues the shops cause, seize illegal items and disrupt any criminal activity. We await a date from partner agencies to be able to tackle this together .

Local Priority - Anti social behaviour and drug use in Stirchley linked to houses of multi occupancy (HMO). This has continued to be raised as an issue.

This will remain a priority for Bournville Neighbourhood Team , due to the transient nature of the properties.

The neighbourhood team are continuing to work with our partner agencies including the exempt accommodation team within BCC and local councillors. We continue to evaluate problem areas and try to support those who require further help.

We are still conducting walks in the area with the local councillor and are speaking to the support providers for the properties that have been raised. If you have a specific property in mind please let us know and we will look to include that.

We are aware of issues within the Ivy Road area at present and would ask for those people affected by this to contact the local team to discuss.
We continue to investigate any issues raised and we would urge residents to go online and report it to West Midlands Police. or call 101 if you need it reported direct to us in person, on the phone, or online please.. This area is being routinely patrolled and person/s spoken to in relation to Anti Social Behaviour and Drug use int he area. 3 people in the last month who were stopped ,were arrested as they were wanted for a string of offences.

Community Priority - illegal use of off road motorcycles on public land - specifically Hazelwell Park and Cotteridge Park.

Bournville NHT have been routinely patrolling areas such as parks in joint operations with Birmingham City Council. Recovering stolen bikes from the area. Future off road bike operations are in planning process. Any incidents please report to us as your information can help towards enforcement action
