Before joining us as a Cadet Leader, Katina served in the British Army for 16 years.

'Being a Cadet Leader is about giving back to the community and shaping the future generation.

'I wanted to make a difference, and being a Cadet Leader inspires others to believe in themselves, just like I believe in them.

'Leaving the Army, I wanted something more. Cadets helped fill that void. I also volunteered as a camp leader years ago as I loved working with young people.

'It's fulfilling to be a role model and offer these amazing experiences. Cadets get a glimpse into the police force and its opportunities.'
