As your local neighbourhood police team for Tettenhall, Penn, Merry Hill and Oxley, we work together with the community, local authority and other partners to help keep you safe. Dedicated to covering your local area, we are supported by police teams based locally such as response and investigation, as well as other specialist colleagues to help solve the crimes and problems that really matter to you.
The team is made up of police officers and dedicated Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs).
Through our understanding of the calls we receive and our local community meetings we agree with partners, community leaders and residents the key priorities for us to focus on in your area. Through working in partnership we want to find long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining a wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, making communities safer.

We are working in conjunction with The City of Wolverhampton Councils ASB team to tackle the issues in the local area. We have deployed cameras to capture the behaviour and we responding by utilising civil and criminal powers.
We will be conducting high visibility patrols around our abstractions and deployability working closely with our partners at the anti social behaviour unit.

We are aware of reports of ASB on the High street, as well as poor parking.
we will increase out footprint in this location and take action against those responsible.

PS Newton has recently conducted a ward walk with the local councillors and has highlighted areas susceptible to graffiti, ASB and drug dealing. The team are aware of these locations and will be increasing their visibility when possible alongside daily abstractions and commitments .

A focus around Belgrade road , which will see us work with our partners from the council and anti social behaviour unit. Persons identified as causing/contributing to ASB can expect criminal/civil interventions.
Police patrols of Reapers Walk & Lodge road to identify suspects and take police action utilising criminal & Civil powers.
Police patrols of rakegate as well as support from city council. we remind the community of the ability to take a picture of poor parking and submit it for consideration of prosecution, via our operation SNAP website.

Priorities Penn: Speeding, ASB ,parking

We have provided our offices with new training and access to modern speed detection technology which will be deployed across the area to educate, deter and prevent speeding activity.
We are also working closely with our community speed watch and police cadets to conduct high visibility speed awareness operations.

We are keen for the community to take control of nuisance parking by reporting the issues directly to west midlands police via the operation SNAP platform- this will see images/videos uploaded of offences and a commitment to retrospectively prosecute persons responsible.
