As your local neighbourhood police team for St Peters, Park and Graiseley we work together with the community, local authority and other partners to help keep you safe. Dedicated to covering your local area, we are supported by police teams based locally such as response and investigation, as well as other specialist colleagues to help solve the crimes and problems that really matter to you.
The team is made up of police officers and dedicated Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs).
Through our understanding of the calls we receive and our local community meetings we agree with partners, community leaders and residents the key priorities for us to focus on in your area. Through working in partnership we want to find long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining a wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, making communities safer.

St Peter’s and Park: Street Sex Work, Drugs and Serious Youth Violence.

We have launched a new operation - called Operation Orthos to tackle the issues in the St Peters and Park Ward and we are working with partners to tackle the issues.
Our teams have been working later into the night to conduct high visibility patrols in the areas that are experiences these issues.
We have had additional Force resources (such as our Operational Support Unit, Force Traffic and Safer Travel) in the area to assist in the Operation Orthos Patrol Strategy.
We have utilised our powers to issues orders preventing individuals involved in this activity from returning the area.
We will continue our patrols to disrupt this criminality at hot spot locations to prevent and deter activity.
We are looking to tackle the anti social behaviour that is occurring in near to Dunstall Road and are working with our partners to improve the area and target those who are associated with this behaviour.
We have also been working with crime stoppers to launch a campaign to encourage reporting in the Whitmore Reans area.

Graiseley: Drugs, Anti-Social Behaviour & Environmental Crime

Our local team continue to patrol hot spot locations at identified peak times.
We have used our powers, such as stop and search and have been issuing civil orders to prevent people from returning to the area.
Any addresses that are associated with ASB and environmental crime, we work with our partners in the Local Authority to take tenancy action where appropriate.
We continue to target those who are causing anti-social behaviour and acting upon information provided to us by the local community working with our partners for resolutions.

Graiseley: Vehicle crime, robbery and burglary.

We continue to have police the hot spot areas to reduce this type of criminality.
We have had additional resources in the area, such as traffic cops and our Operational Support Unit (OSU) to target known offenders who are committing these crimes.
We have arrested a number of criminals who have received custodial sentence and have utilised our powers to apply for Criminal Behaviour Orders through the courts to prevent those individuals from returning to the area.
We continue to target those responsible for this criminality and have recently arrested and charged a number of people.
Our PCSOs have arranged a number of community drop ins to engage with the public and conduct reassurance patrols.
