As your local neighbourhood police team for Bilston and East Park, we work together with the community, local authority and other partners to help keep you safe. Dedicated to covering your local area, we are supported by colleagues from other police teams based locally such as; response and investigation, as well as specialist colleagues from across West Midlands Police to help solve the crimes and problems that really matter to you.
The team is made up of police officers and dedicated Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs).
Through our understanding of the calls we receive and our local community meetings we agree with partners, community leaders and residents the key priorities for us to focus on in your area. Through working in partnership we want to find long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining a wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, making communities safer.

It has been raised to both the police and local authority that drug dealing is taking place around the perimeters of the park as well as incidents of serious youth violence.

The local neighbourhood team continue to patrol the park and surrounding areas. The local neighbourhood team are also working collaboratively with the local authority to tackle these issues and positive action will be taken against those in possession of drugs. Officers have attended local meeting and have discussed how information can be provided to Police in regard to these issues.
Arrests have been made in relation to the serious youth violence.
We encourage the community to report any drug dealing and Anti social behaviour in the area, this can be done anonymously.

Reports of anti social behaviour and off road vehicles on the grassed area of Loxdale Sidings and along the canal.

The local neighbourhood team have been patrolling the area and will continue to do so, positive action will be taken against those seen to be causing anti social behaviour.
The team will be seeking support from West Midlands Police force resources to identify riders, locations of the offending vehicles, to seek to engage with families and enforce compliance where needed.

We have received reports of Anti Social Behaviour, theft from stores and theft of pedal cycles.

Officers have conducted increased patrols in effected areas, actions undertaken to increase CCTV visibility in key area and to promptly identify and arrest suspects. There has been a reduction in offences due to active targeting of suspects in Dec/Jan resulting in convictions and remands of offenders. We will continue to target and address these issues.
