    People experiencing homelessness and alcohol consumption in the High Street area.

    Action taken:

    It was agreed at the recent PACT meeting that police and partners would continue to tackle issues of homelessness and alcohol consumption in the High Street area.
    This area is on our patrol strategy and we will now look assess the current issues and positively engage with any individuals identified. Where appropriate we will look to offer support with referrals to appropriate agencies.

    Drugs related activity in King Street and surrounding areas

    Action taken:

    Kings Street has been identified as a priority area following concerns raised of drugs related activity by the community. We will now be carrying out targeted patrols in the area and will take positive action against anyone engaging in unlawful activity. We will also be liaising with the local authority to consider addtional support.

    Kings Street, Pinfold Street and Darlaston Road has been identified as a local priority following traffic and road safety concerns received from our community. We will now be monitoring these areas and considering appropriate action to improve road safety.

    Working to ensure Halloween and Bonfire Night celebrations are enjoyed safely and responsibly.

    Action taken:

    Walsall Police are working with the local authority, key stakeholders and community members to help ensure these celebrations are enjoyed safely and responsibly.

    Neighbourhood officers will be out across the borough reassuring communities and preventing any behaviour that could put others at risk.

    We will be working with licenced premises to ensure that safe securing of fireworks and appropriate selling is taking place.

    Our Prevention Hub officers are working with schools to ensure that educational resources are delivered to schools to educate young people on the importance of staying safe across the period.
