I am Inspector Jon Butler, and I am the Neighbourhood Policing Manager for Blakenall, Birchills, Leamore, Bloxwich East and Bloxwich West wards.
I have over 20 years policing experience, starting my career as response officer in Walsall, quickly finding a passion for Roads Policing, where I then spent 15 years of my career working within various roles within Roads Policing. I set up West Midlands Police Road Harm Prevention Team, where working with key partners we reduced Road Casualties across the West Midlands by 5% year on year.
Upon leaving Roads Policing I lead a busy response team in Birmingham through the Commonwealth Games, and beyond, before moving into our Force Control Room.
I am over the moon to be back in Walsall, and look forward to engaging with our communities, and working together with them, and our partners to deliver a thriving, inclusive and sustainable borough.
This will be done through ensuring my officers are visible, proactive and acting on your concerns.
