I joined West Midlands Police in 2002 and have served in a number of frontline roles policing the areas of Coventry, Walsall and Birmingham. I have previously been posted within the planning team for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games where I worked closely with partners to deliver safe and secure events at the NEC and surrounding complexes. I have spent my previous 2 years within Counter Terrorism Policing. I am delighted to have become the constituency Inspector for Solihull Rural Team which is a unique area within West Midlands Police, covering the wards of Bickenhill, the NEC, Meriden, Knowle, as well as Dorridge & Hockley Heath.
I hope my knowledge and experience will benefit this constituency and I look forward to building positive relationships with partners and residents in order to tackle issues which are important to the communities within the rural area.

Tackling Anti Social Behaviour and feelings of safety
Action taken:
We take reports of anti social behaviour seriously. Reports of ASB will be investigated by local officers and we will work with you to investigate issues and deal with any perpetrators. We have dealt with a number of neighbour disputes recently which have resulted in Community protection warnings being issued.
We have a range of tools at out disposal including civil interventions and working with partners to resolve any issues. -
Priority:
To tackle an issue of speeding vehicles in Balsall Common, Chadwick End & Dorridge.
Action taken:
We are aware that the residents of some areas are concerned about the number of speeding vehicles on local roads. We have a number of tools at our disposal including local speed watches, enforcement operations as well as support from the road harm team with their mobile police van. I would as if you have concerns about speeding in your area, please get in touch with your local officer and we tell you what we are already doing in your area as well as offer further support.

To tackle reports of off road bikers.
Action taken:
This is a new goal as we have recently seen increased reports off road bikes in rural areas. Please call us if you see off road biking taking place, We are able to seize bikes that are being used anti socially.
