I joined West Midlands Police in 2006 and spent the first part of my career in Sandwell on response, neighbourhood, proactive acquisitive crime team and an initiative called Operation Unite which focused on managing offenders in the community, locally in neighbourhoods. This involved working with partners and communities to address their pathways to offending and prevent further victims of crime. This initiative went on to be recognised nationally with a Tilley award and led to the next few years of my career managing offenders of all different crime types..

In 2016 I moved to the Birmingham area where I was responsible for the management of registered sex offenders and investigating sexual offences. This included risk management of the offenders in order to safeguard and protect some of the most vulnerable children and adults in our society. This is a role I am still very passionate about and apply the specialist training I have received in other roles since.

In 2025 I moved to Solihull where I am now the Inspector for the North Sector, this includes Chelmsley Wood and Smith’s Wood, I am looking forwards to identifying and addressing the neighbourhood problems and issues and working with partners and engaging our communities to address these and implement long term solutions to address the root cause.

My teams have regular community meetings, it is there that we will listen and discuss ways in which we can help tackle any issues you may raise.
