I joined West Midlands Police in 2001 and following training worked in the Walsall Police Area. During this time I have worked in a number of roles including Response, Neighbourhood Police and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). I have worked on a variety of investigations including complex frauds, murders and rapes.
During my time within policing i have worked in other none operational roles supporting the force in change, Operational Planning and leading the Recruitment Outreach Team.
I was promoted to Sergeant in 2016 and Inspector in 2020. I became responsible for the Sandwell South Constituency in 2023. I am now working with the communities to understand what matters to them and will then shape the policing response accordingly.
I began my career with West Midlands Police in 2020, initially serving communities across Sutton Coldfield and Walsall before transitioning to the Sandwell local policing area in 2022.
Throughout my career, I have worked across frontline and investigative teams, however, always felt at home within Neighbourhood policing, fulfilling a role that had been a dream since a young age.
