I joined West Midlands Police in 2001 and following training worked in the Walsall Police Area. During this time I have worked in a number of roles including Response, Neighbourhood Police and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). I have worked on a variety of investigations including complex frauds, murders and rapes.
During my time within policing i have worked in other none operational roles supporting the force in change, Operational Planning and leading the Recruitment Outreach Team.
I was promoted to Sergeant in 2016 and Inspector in 2020. I became responsible for the Sandwell South Constituency in 2023. I am now working with the communities to understand what matters to them and will then shape the policing response accordingly.

Great Bridge Retail Park and High Street have been repeatedly been targeted by anti-social behaviour (ASB), prolific shoplifting and begging, attracting drug use to the area.
Action taken:
We have been working closely with partner agencies over the past few months, which has seen the majority of the homeless people re-housed, along with a reduction of drug use. We are making use of community protection warnings and notices, to divert aggressive beggars and ASB away from the retail park and great bridge in general, where we arrested and charged a male for breaching his notice and possessing a knife in Dec 25. We are still actively pursuing these notices and ensuring they remain enforced, as well as also investigating shop theft matters and charging a number of offenders, some of which have now been remanded.

Antisocial Behaviour In Tipton Green:
We have received complaints of ongoing antisocial behaviour such as drug use including nitrous oxide in Victoria Park, Tipton, which has affected the enjoyment of the park for local residentsAction taken:
On going partnership work and more visible and plain clothed patrols to deter or detect offenders will be in place over the coming months

Complaints have been received of anti-social behaviour in and around the shops in Prince End, with youths climbing on rooftops and causing a general nuisance in the vicinityAction taken:
PCs HILL and RAY will be meeting with partner agencies and conducting joint patrols with a view to identifying those involved and taking appropriate action where needed including ASB notices, breaches to tenancy warnings to parents with visible and plain clothed patrols being conducted. We await funding from council for the erection of secure fencing
