Retail Crime – Thefts from Shops

Action
•High visibility patrols in demand locations
•Plain cloths patrols in demand location
•Issue of Community Protection warning/notices
•Arrest and Charge Offenders who are identified
•Engage with retailers
Result
•Various events in the community to engage with communities and allow them to raise concerns
•Meetings with key retailers to support the arrest of retail criminals
•New process created with partners to maximise evidential opportunities
•Issue of Community Behaviour Order to key offender banning them form specific locations

Off Road Bikes and speeding

Action
•Working with local community to identify suspects of off-road bikes and take positive action
•Home visits to issue warning letters in relation to off road bikes
•High visibility patrols around our key locations such as Warrens Hall and Bumble Hole
•Police Operations with Police Off Road bikes to target bikes not on the highway
•Worked with our Road Harm Reduction Team to target bikes on the road
•Work in partnership with DY LPA
•Speed operations
