My policing career began in 2003 when I joined the Metropolitan Police Service as a response PC working out of West End Central Police Station, where we covered the districts of Soho and Mayfair.
I transferred to West Midlands Police in 2004 and have amassed extensive experience across various policing roles both in uniform and plain clothes. I have worked as a Staff Officer to the Head of the Counter Terrorism Unit; run a Prisoner Management Team at Stechford; been a Detective Constable investigating rape and serious sexual offences in the Public Protection Unit at Coventry; and worked on Out of Court disposals and Missing People investigations on CID in Birmingham.
I was promoted to Inspector in 2021 and re-joined the Public Protection Unit, where I served as the Detective Inspector for Safeguarding as well as the resident MARAC Chair for Coventry and Solihull.
I transferred back to uniform policing in September 2025 and am now the Local Policing Inspector for the North East Sector of Coventry, based out of Foleshill Police Station. My teams cover Henley & Longford, Foleshill and Stoke & Wyken. Our primary focus is on addressing antisocial behaviour and vehicle crime, as well as retail and business crime.
I am committed to a proactive, problem-solving approach to policing. I aim to ensure that my team has the necessary resources, training and equipment to deliver high standards of service. The health and well-being of my teams are important to me as I believe that this will enable them to perform their duties effectively. Our collective aim is to work in collaboration with our partners and the public so that we can protect those who are vulnerable, prevent and detect crime and make our communities safer together.
I am eager to engage with local residents and explore new ways to communicate about policing and crime in Coventry. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping our efforts to create the safer community we strive for.
Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer - Foleshill
