I have been both a response and neighbourhood policing Inspector. I have been an Inspector on the Neighbourhood policing teams since 2024.

Community priority - Address long-standing Crime & ASB issues and to prioritise quality of life for residents of around Winson Green including
Street Racing around Spring Hill.Action taken:
Use police powers to combat issues reported by local residents
High visibility patrols – requesting other departments to assist including Safer Travel.
Work with neighbourhood and community groups to tackle matters important to them
Liaise with Birmingham City Council for a multi-agency approach to problem-solving to address the causes of ASB.

Local Priority - reduce shoplifting at supermarkets including Tesco Spring Hill and Lidl Dudley Road
Action taken:
- We will conduct high visibility patrols at location
- We will conduct crime prevention surgeries at locations in order to prevent future offences
- We will work with internal and external partners to bring repeat offenders to justice

Force Priority - Operation Stance
We are currently engaged in tackling the criminality seen at shops on our area, which are leading us to target disruption efforts and enforce legislation to those responsible for owning, managing and utilising these stores.
Action taken:
We will be conducting high visibility patrols and visits to local stores.
We will be liaising with external partners and conducting joint visits to reduce criminality and ensure trading standards are upheld.
