The Selly Oak neighbourhood team have been out speaking to students at the University of Birmingham about keeping their homes safe from burglars.
Two men and a teenager have been charged in connection with alleged county lines drug offences.
Ensure residents of Sutton New Hall feel safe and reassured by providing regular contact with their Neighbourhood Team and having officers be as visible as possible where needed.

Police surgeries are often held at different times and locations to provide a range of opportunities for members of the public to engage with the local neighbourhood team. Here they can raise any issues of concern and be provided with crime prevention advice and tools, as well as doing this the team also attend community events at locations such as schools and public events to interact with the community.

Address locally raised concerns around anti-social behaviour within Sutton New Hall through working with partner agencies including Birmingham City Council to address repeat ASB issues and utilise enforcement action where appropriate.

Sutton New Hall is patrolled to provide reassurance and a visible presence to the public. Proactive patrols have been ongoing and several arrests made around the retail crimes Police work alongside partner agencies and conduct operations to target hot spot areas and utilise enforcement opportunities.

Pro active retail operations have been completed and multiple arrests made including prolific shoplifters. The team are continuing to conduct patrols around hotspot areas and utilising police systems, local knowledge and community partners to try and ID suspects in order to take positive action.
