I am Inspector Sefton Bednarski, and I am currently responsible for Ladywood West Constituency. I joined West Midlands Police in January 2009 and have worked in several rewarding operational roles a Constable, including Response Policing, Neighbourhood, Investigation and child protection.
As a sergeant I worked Neighbourhood Policing, Response Policing, Public Protection and Custody. I was Promoted to Inspector in 2024 supporting the constituency in a 24/7 capacity leading a team of officers responding to emergency calls for service.
I have recently become the Neighbourhood Policing Manager responsible for Ladywood West Constituency and see this role a home coming of sorts having been a Neighbourhood Constable on Ladywood neighbourhood team in 2019 so the chance to come back to lead teams of dedicated officers who day in day out support the communities within the constituency was an opportunity I did not want to miss.
Hi I'm Josephina, one of your Designated Neighbourhood Officers for Soho Road.
