I joined West Midlands Police on the 10th April 2000, with my first day being at Thornhill Road Police Station, working my first two years at Newtown, before becoming the local beat officer for Lozells where I worked until 2007. I then got promoted to Sgt in 2010 and moved to the Birmingham East area on a response team at Stechford.

I am really pleased to have returned to Perry Barr to areas that I am passionate about supporting and I look forward to meeting as many of the community as possible of the coming years.

Outside of work I have five children, two of whom are Neurodivergent. I understand and am passionate about supporting those who need extra support and I enjoy finding creative ways to work around problems and find solutions.

I have played basketball my entire life, reaching National League standard and playing for Birmingham XL, although I am now moved into retirement in this respect.

Having worked in many roles across the Force in the last 26 years I bring a wealth of experience and local knowledge of Birmingham that I trust will be an asset to the community for my final 3 ½ years in Policing.
