Force Priority - Operation Stance

We are currently engaged in tackling the criminality seen at shops on our area, which are leading us to target disruption efforts and enforce legislation to those responsible for owning, managing and utilising these stores.

We will be conducting high visibility patrols and visits to local stores.
We will be liaising with external partners and conducting joint visits to reduce criminality and ensure trading standards are upheld.

June update:

We are currently conducting partnership days at various locations with Birmingham City Council Trading standards and Trident housing. We are visiting a number of premises regarding counterfeit goods and looking at target hardening for shoplifting.

Local priority - Tackle Vehicle crime/Vehicle related offences around the Oscott area.

June 2026:

Officers have arrested a prolific vehicle crime offender for three offences. The team have provided reassurance visit and patrolled offence locations.
*Working with other police departments to drive down levels of crime and bring offenders to justice
