Your local team
As your local neighbourhood police team, we work together with the community, local authority, and other partners to help keep you safe.
Our team is made up of police officers and dedicated Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). This includes a sergeant, dedicated local named officers, and Local Action Team officers. We are also supported by police teams, including response and investigation units, as well as other specialist colleagues, to help solve the crimes and problems that really matter to you.
Through our understanding of the calls we receive and our local community meetings, we agree with partners, community leaders, and residents on the key priorities for us to focus on in your area. Working in partnership, we aim to find long-term solutions to local problems while maintaining a wider focus on preventing crime and making communities safer.

Community Priority - ASB within Hagley Road
The Ladywood NHT are aware of the issues causing problems for residents, businesses and visitors to the Hagley Road area. We understand the problems with drug use, prostitution and other offences remain a nuisance for our communities. This criminality also includes begging at stationary traffic lights.
Action taken:
We will be engaged with working amongst internal and external partners to support the enforcement of this work.
We have issued a number of community protection warnings to those who are begging at stationary traffic lights.

Local Priority - Thefts from retailers on Bristol Road
The Ladywood NHT are aware of a number of thefts that have been reported from local businesses on the Bristol Road (within Ladywood ward area).
Action taken:
The Ladywood NHT are proactively working on providing visibility and tackling repeat offenders who are engaged in thefts from stores and other retail outlets within this area.

Force Priority - Operation Stance
We are currently engaged in tackling the criminality seen at shops on our area, which are leading us to target disruption efforts and enforce legislation to those responsible for owning, managing and utilising these stores.
Action taken:
We will be working with partners to conduct visits to these locations and enforce legislation where we find breaches of trading standards and other laws.
