Coventry Road (Heybarnes to Muntz Street) - In several locations there is open drug dealing and drug use, mainly nitrous oxide. This is bringing ASB and disorder to the area affecting the safety and wellbeing of the local community. Within this there is issues linked to 24/7 shops and those using these establishments. Womens safety has been highlighted with instances of catcalling being reported.

This priority has been agreed for the next quarter. Making use of new partner engagement and changes in police powers will help support long term closure orders and enforcement

Barnesville Close has several issues of ASB by local youths. Driving antisocially, causing criminal damage and drug use

This priority has been reagreed now that we have evidential opportunities to capture offending and issue community protection warnings. We have engagement from the local authority and housing provider to ensure enforcement is carried out through all levels

Ideal Village Park has seen an increase in flytipping but also evidence of needles and condoms. There is ASB here that is having a detrimental impact on the community

We have good support from the community on this issue with sufficient evidence. We will make use of community orders to remove problem offenders from the location. We also have good links into the parks department and waste enforcement to secure the park and prosecute those found to be flytipping
