Parking obstructions, untaxed, sorn vehicles. Continued priority.

This matter is raised with us at our local meetings with the community and in impromptu discussions with local residents and shop workers. As such, we will continue to work on this priority.
Residents have reported numerous issues relating to parking obstructions, untaxed vehicles and sorn vehicles in and around the area of Kineton Croft. Officers have been checking vehicles and taking action where we can whether it be a ticket or seizing the vehicle.

further work is to continue when the universities return from summer breaks where by initial education of parking will commence however will again move into enforcement action when required

Anti social behaviour caused by off road motorcycles and speeding vehicles. Continued Priority.

Further work over the summer period has enabled the local team to track addresses where these motorcycles are stored and the location of the riders. further patrols are continuing especially over the weekend periods to educate, deter and confiscate the bikes

increases in shoplifting at our large superstores and smaller independent stores is adding un told pressure on businesses and the price of goods

The Bartley green is stepping up our visibility around our most targeted stores as well using our facial recognition technology to identify and target prolific offenders

Further work over the summer period has seen the forming of a retail crime team and active patrols which has led to further arrests of some of the areas prolific shoplifting offenders

Force Priority - Operation Guardian

Following a review of crime figures in the area and inteligence received from the local community, Youth based violence and knife crime has been raised as a concern. We will continue to work to reduce these issues within the community and offer safeguarding and support to those who have been a victim.

The Bartley Green team will continue to complete targeted patrols to tackle the issue. This will be a mixture of full uniform and plain clothed patrols. The team will patrol the main streets, shopping areas and parks to ensure the community is safe.
