We've charged a man after two others were stabbed during disorder in Smethwick.
We received reports of armed violence in Foundry Lane at just before 9.30pm on Tuesday (26 May).
Two men attended hospital with stab wounds, and a 21-year-old man remains in a serious condition.
We detained a 19-year-old man in connection with the incident and he has now been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Andre Gomes, from Northfield, has been remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow (29 May).
Two other men, both aged 18, have been bailed while our enquiries continue.
We know this is concerning for the community and we've increased our presence in the area to provide reassurance.
The investigation remains ongoing and we'd ask people to send any footage to us, rather than share it online.
We have set up a dedicated web page where information can be uploaded securely - Public Portal
