We've arrested four teenagers following disorder in Birmingham city centre.
Fighting occurred in Victoria Square at around 3.50pm yesterday (21 March) and no-one is known to have been injured.
A zombie knife was recovered from the area and is now being analysed. We understand while threats were made the weapon wasn't used.
We've detained four boys - aged between 14 and 16 - on suspicion of violent disorder. They're currently in custody for questioning.
We're continuing to review footage and liaise with security staff who were present after a planned demonstration had finished in the area a short time earlier.
Investigators are working to establish the full circumstances and identify who was involved.
We're asking for anyone with information which can help our investigation to contact us via Live Chat, or call 101, and quote 20/186925/26.
We will not tolerate violence in Birmingham city centre or the wider region. We're committed to ensuring the West Midlands is a safe place for everyone to live, work and visit.
