We’re appealing for information and witnesses after a man was badly hurt in a collision in Nechells.
We were called to the junction of Rupert Street and Avenue Road at around 3.30pm yesterday (30 March).
Two cars, a white Volkswagen and a silver Honda, had collided.
The driver of the Honda, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital where he remains with serious injuries.
The driver of the VW, a man aged 19, was also taken to hospital.
Specialist officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out a number of enquiries and working to establish the exact circumstances around what happened.
