Two arrested as drugs recovered in Dudley

We've arrested two suspected drug dealers after stopping a suspicious vehicle in Dudley.

The car initially failed to stop for officers but was brought to a halt near Duncan Edwards Way at just after 3.20pm yesterday (16 June).

Following a search we recovered drugs and cash from the vehicle.

A 21-year-old woman and man, aged 25, were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. The man was also detained on suspicion of failing to stop and being in charge of a vehicle while unfit through drink or drugs.

They both remain in custody for questioning.
