A suspected serial shop thief is due in court today after being arrested on suspicion of almost 20 thefts in Wolverhampton.
The man in his 30s was arrested on Monday in Wombourne, following a number of thefts at shops in the Oxley area in the last two months.
Philip Jones, aged 37, has been charged with 19 counts of shop theft and has been held in police custody to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Wednesday).
