This week marked the launch of Safer 6 in Sandwell.
It marks the beginning of six weeks of action spread across the six towns in the borough: Oldbury, Tipton, Rowley Regis, Smethwick, Wednesbury and West Bromwich.

The annual initiative brings together partners including West Midlands Police, Sandwell Council, and West Midlands Fire Service, to work together to problem solve your concerns, support local people and spotlight great collaborative work within the communities we serve.
Our message is clear: Six weeks. Six towns. One safer Sandwell.
The campaign highlights work that the police are doing day in, day out, and gives us an opportunity to spread crime prevention advice and introduce your dedicated neighbourhood officers.
Our key focuses are joint enforcement operations, tackling antisocial behaviour, engaging with local community groups, and keeping your roads safe by cracking down on vehicle crime.
Sandwell Police attended the launch event this week in Oldbury.
This activity continues as Safer 6 focuses on Rowley Regis next week.
