This week our neighbourhood policing teams across Coventry have been hard at work responding to the things that matter to you.
As part of Neighbourhood Policing Week of Action, the teams have been carrying out targeted operations and patrols in response to local priorities.
In Foleshill, the Priority Crime Team visited three businesses alongside Trading Standards colleagues.
The operation targeted a number of shops and resulted in a large amount of counterfeit cigarettes being seized from a car linked to a shop in Walsgrave Road.

Elsewhere, the Stoke and Wyken team carried out after-school patrols as well as the retail parks in the area targeting anti-social behaviour and theft.
Officers also visited schools to engage with pupils and parents.
More school engagement was carried out by officers and PCSOs from our Partnerships team, who visited Stoke Heath Primary School for a speedwatch operation and Ravensdale Primary School to showcase their VR headsets.
Another visit was made to Holbrooks Primary School, where officers told pupils about their work and showed off their kit.

There were more patrols over in Foleshill with officers visiting the tower blocks and engaging with residents.
Officers across the city also carried out night-time patrols on Wednesday as football fans celebrated England's win over Croatia in the World Cup.
This week we’re focusing on the vital work carried out every day by our neighbourhood policing teams, volunteers and community partners who help keep our communities safe throughout the year.
You may not know just how much work goes on to help support local communities and keep people safe behind the scenes.

This week is an opportunity to really shine a light on the work carried out every day by our officers, staff, PCSOs and partners to look after our local communities.
