We've been out today in response to concerns about speeding drivers in Wednesfield.
Police Community Support Officers were on a Speedwatch operation after being told of concerns among families in Ashmore Park about the speed of drivers on Linthouse Lane.

It's a 30mph limit and on this occasion, no one was found to be breaking that. But we carry out regular Speedwatch ops in response to concerns raised by residents in neighbourhoods across Wolverhampton local police area.
They are one of several schemes we run to help reduce the number of accidents on roads and often involve us patrolling the roads using specialist vehicles and devices.
People caught breaking the speed limit are written to about the risks of their dangerous driving. Repeat offenders receive a visit from the local police and could face criminal prosecution.
