Murder investigation launched after man stabbed to death in Birmingham

We’ve launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in Birmingham this evening.
We were called to Walford Road in Sparkbrook at around 6.20pm after a man, believed to be in his 40s, had been attacked.
Sadly, he was pronounced dead at around 7pm.
No arrests have yet been made, and our officers remain at the scene this evening as we recover CCTV and speak to witnesses.
Anyone with information, CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage from the area at the time should contact 101, quoting log 4881 of 4 June.
