We’ve charged a man with dangerous driving after a car failed to stop for officers and drove dangerously in Oldbury.
Tony Wharton, aged 52, of no fixed address, has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, and no insurance.
Wharton was bailed with conditions and will appear at Dudley Magistrates’ Court on 14 July.
The charge comes after officers from our Road Crime Team were out on patrol in the Sandwell area on Wednesday afternoon (10 June) and stopped the car on Grafton Road following a pursuit.
Another man, aged 17, was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He has since been bailed while our enquiries continue.
