A man’s been charged as we continue to tackle vehicle theft across the West Midlands.
Daen Stevenson, aged 25, from Birmingham, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (12 June) charged with four counts of theft of a motor vehicle, and one count of theft from a motor vehicle.
He was arrested yesterday by Dudley’s Neighbourhood Crime Team as part of an ongoing investigation.
We’d been investigating after two cars were stolen in Halesowen and Cradley Heath in May, and two in Solihull earlier this month.
We know that vehicle crime has a real impact on people, and we have teams of officers across the whole of the West Midlands working together to bring those responsible to justice.
