A man is to appear in court after multiple cars were broken into and items stolen across the Dudley area.
Officers were alerted to reports of a car being broken into on Dudley High Street, on 26 May and clothes and tools being stolen, as well as another incident the evening before (25 May) where a Golf was broken into and money stolen.
A further incident was also reported after a car was broken into on Priory Street, at 1.40pm on 28 May.
Following an investigation by Dudley’s Neighbourhood Crime Team a man was arrested on 1 June at a venue on St James Road.
Ryan Stanton, of Dudley, has since been charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, vehicle interference, attempted theft from a motor vehicle, theft from a shop and a public order offence.
The 19-year-old is due to appear before magistrates in Wolverhampton today (3 June).
