We are investigating after a man has sadly died following a collision in Tipton last night.
Just before 10.20pm, we were called to High Street in Princes End after a vehicle hit a property.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the driver of the Honda Civic, a 48-year-old man, died at the scene.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this tragic time.
There were five other occupants in the vehicle, including a woman and four children, who have all been taken to hospital for treatment.
Thankfully their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The road was closed overnight and has now reopened. Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is keen to hear from anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage from around the area, and anyone who saw the collision should get in touch with us.
You can call 101 quoting 6172 of 2 June or speak to us via Live Chat on our website, or email SCIU directly at [email protected].
