A Birmingham man who was part of a County Lines drug gang has been jailed.
Haaris Zubair was arrested last year in a targeted operation, being found in possession of thousands of pounds worth of cash and drugs.
Zubair, 20, supplied large amounts of heroin and crack cocaine across Birmingham.
The drugs line was disrupted by an investigation led by our County Lines Taskforce, which uncovered phone messages relating to drug deals, quantities and prices involving members of the line.
Following enquiries, a warrant was carried out at two addresses in Birmingham in which more than £7,000 in cash and nearly 500 wraps of class A drugs were found.

In total, more than £20,000 cash was recovered from addresses linked to the drugs line and hundreds of wraps of drugs were seized.
Zubair was jailed for eight years and three months at Warwick Crown Court on 10 June.
County Lines gangs exploit vulnerable people and children to transport and sell drugs across the West Midlands.
These groups cause untold misery, and our County Lines Taskforce carries out warrants and targeted operations to disrupt criminal gangs and arrest those involved in supplying drugs.
