We’re asking for the public’s help after a young boy had his bike robbed while out in a park in Stourbridge.
We received a report that a 12-year-old boy who was leaving Mary Stevens Park via the Love Lane gates on 4 June, at 4.55pm, was approached by four teenagers.
The group threatened the boy and stole a beige coloured Canyon Torque mountain bike.
The offenders made off towards Heath Lane and may have turned off onto Farlands Road and Corser Street.
They are described as being white, of an average height and build. Three of them were wearing mostly black clothing while another was dressed in a light grey hoodie and joggers with a black jacket and black shoes with white on the side.
We want to appeal to any residents in those areas to check any CCTV or doorbell cameras between 5pm and 5.15pm and the wider community around the Mary Stevens Park area to check their CCTV between 4pm and 5.15pm.
If you were in the area at the time, have been offered to buy a bike which matches this description, or have any information that could help our officers investigating get in touch with us.
Call 101 or use the Live Chat function on our website quoting crime number 20/273903/26. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
