Appeal for information following fatal collision in Tile Cross

We are appealing for information after a man sadly died in a collision in Tile Cross, Birmingham.

We were called to Mackadown Lane at the junction of St Giles Road at around 5.55am this morning (Monday) to reports of a single vehicle collision.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was found seriously injured.

He was taken to hospital where he sadly died. 

His family has been informed and are being supported at this difficult time.

Enquiries are underway to establish the exact circumstances of the collision.

The road has since re-opened.
