Appeal following fatal collision in Lye

We’re appealing for information following a fatal collision in Lye this morning (15 June). 

Officers were called to Balds Lane at around 9.30am this morning after a car collided with a wall. 

Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services, a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. 

His family has been informed and are being supported at this difficult time. 

Enquiries are underway to establish the exact circumstances of the collision.
