Teenagers arrested following large-scale disorder in Halesowen

We’ve arrested multiple teenagers following a large-scale disorder in Halesowen.

Officers were called to High Street, Halesowen, shortly before 12.30pm, today (18 July) to reports of a large group of teenagers fighting.

Following a quick response, two teenagers aged 15 and 16-years-old have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

A dispersal order has been put in place in Halesowen town centre, which gives officers extra policing powers which will allow us to disperse anyone engaging in anti-social behaviour and causing a public nuisance.

We are in the early stages of our investigation, and a large police presence remains in the area while we work to establish exactly what’s happened.
