We've arrested a man after recovering a gun in Coventry.
Traffic officers spotted a suspected stolen motorbike at just after 6.15pm yesterday (17 January).
It was stopped in Proffitt Avenue and a 23-year-old man was detained.
We found a bag nearby and a viable, loaded firearm was seized. We've carried out further connected searches and recovered a cartridge and counterfeit money.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm, theft of a motor vehicle and driving offences. He remains in custody for questioning.
