We’ve arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was found seriously injured in Bloxwich yesterday (25 January).
The victim, in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
It’s believed the man was assaulted in the Chantry Avenue area in the early hours of the morning.
We have been carrying out a range of enquiries including speaking to residents and reviewing CCTV.
A man, aged 43, was arrested yesterday afternoon and remains in police custody this morning where he will be questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.
Our investigation is continuing today and local officers remain in the area for reassurance.
