A man has been charged after we recovered a suspected stolen vehicle in Birmingham.
Officers spotted the car Edgbaston on Saturday (11 April), and it was brought to a stop on Longleat Avenue following a short pursuit. A 34-year-old man was detained while searches were carried out.
The car was confirmed to have been stolen last month, and the man was arrested.
Humza Hussain Asif has now been charged with driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified, possessing false identity documents, and handling stolen goods.
The 34-year-old from Bordesley Green was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
