Two men are due to appear in court today charged in relation to a series of car cannibalism offences.
Mikaeel Ryan, aged 18 from Birmingham and Muhammad Sudais, aged 18 from Birmingham have been charged with conspiracy to steal from a motor vehicle and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.
They are due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (27 November).
This comes after around 10 vehicles were stripped of its parts, and two vehicles were stolen between 1 June 2024 and 20 October 2024.
The incidents happened in several areas in Birmingham such as Nechells, Sutton Coldfield, Edgbaston and Castle Bromwich.
We would urge anyone with concerns or information about this type of crime to contact us on 101, and if you see anyone acting suspiciously near a vehicle call us 999 straight away.
