We've charged three teenagers with attempted murder after a boy, aged 15, was stabbed in Birmingham last Friday (7 March).
We were called by paramedics to Alum Rock Road, near the junction with College Road, at just before 8.45pm. It's believed the boy was attacked in the area around Morris Park a short time earlier.
Two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, have been charged with attempted murder, and possession of a bladed article.
All three have been remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates today (12 March).
A man, aged 21 and from Birmingham, had already been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article and has been remanded in custody.
The boy who was stabbed is recovering in hospital.
